San Pedro is a small dusty town which should be called "Backpackers Village" but we were pleasantly surprised as it´s quite nice.
We took a trip to the Geysers which meant getting up at 4am (again!)! The temperature was -12º up on the mountains which was horrendous! It was worth it though the trip was really good. It was cool seeing the geysers blowing up steam from the earth - our driver even boiled our eggs for breakfast in one of the geyser pools!

We then visited some hot springs. Leigh was brave enough to get in but Mal didn´t want to get out into the freezing cold so stopped at dipping her feet in.
Next day we hired mountain bikes and ventured out into the mountains. It was a killer but at least Mal knows she can ride a bike afterall!
Next stop Salar de Uyuni, our real reason for visiting San Pedro.
