In another of those rare moments where we were able to see some of Maggie’s friends, we spent a few days with Chris and Dave in Asheville, North Carolina. We stayed up way too late and slept in just as late. Asheville is a pretty hippie, music-loving town, and we had a great time seeing it with those guys.
From Asheville we drove down the last leg of the Blue Ridge Parkway to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We spent another couple of days there camping, hiking, and taking in the great views.
