I got a call from my cousin Alex who was also traveling and was in Sydney so we arranged to meet up, so I got the bus to Central Station where he welcomed me with a big manly hug. He had meet Allyson the night before in the last hostel and she tagged along she was from Chiswick (London) and was well educated and kept using really long words like over five letters.

We found a place to stay from the Lonely Planet Book which I was against using but I was converted by Allyson. The Pink House, was a few minutes walk from Kings Cross, Kings Cross is like a London Soho or a dirty Amsterdam we grabbed lunched from a local cafe where we drank them out of tap water. After we went for a walk to the Sydney Harbor where we caught the ferry over to Mainly where the only good thing was leaving, we walked along its dirty beach which was full of rubbish just like Ruislip Lido. We walked back to the ferry and stopped for a beer in a german bar which overlooked the Harbor. Me and Alex ordered a large one liter beer each and by the time we finished the beer we were drunk (light weights).

We hopped back on the ferry home where we got lost and walked for about three hours. Finally back we headed back out to a local bar to us, we got VIP bands which was meant to mean we got free vodka redbull for an hour, It never happened the keep changing the time and then just canceled the promotion. I was only happy with this as the dance floor was fall of men that couldn't dance so once again I got out my jelly legs and hipped hopped onto the dance floor and showed the women how men from England dance.

We headed back to the hostel for a few more drinks before I left leaving them two kissing hee hee (i saw you).

I woke early and tucked into the free breakfast, started chatting to the travelers where I arranged a group of us to go to Bondi Beach as I was the only one who had been I lead the party I rounded every one up and grabbed myself a mini surf board and we set off.

When we finally got there and we all walked to the waters edge it was so cold so I handed over ny surf boards to another guy who ran straight in (crazy) as we watched he was getting thrown from one wave to the next, then he finally gave up he had so many scratches and cuts hee hee.

Then I still had loads of energy so I was going for a run but in the end everyone came with us so there was about five people running like a squad up and down the beach funny how after every lap one by one they dropped off just leaving me.

We then went to a local restaurant of a cheap meal on $10 for a stake meal, while Alex had squid and kept playing with his food and scaring this German girl (She deserved it).

On the way back we went to the Royal Botanic Gardens which is the most amazing place I have ever been just full of different flowers, animals etc...the park has the best views of the Harbor Bridge and the Opera House. Along our walk though we came across a group of birds that fly to your arm, I really wanted a photo with one so I went over tried so hard to get one to fly op when one finally did it was the ugliest bird that looked like it was run over a few times.

It was there last night before Alex left for New Zealand and Allyson left for Melbourne so once again we rounded up the numbers for the hostel and headed out. We walked to a local spanish festal but was to late so just went for a few drinks managed to lost the two love birds, so me and a few others went to Oxford Street to a Irish 24hour bar which had Chelsea v Villa on, that was the reason I got drunk on $3 pints.

So it was just me again all along in a city that I didn't know, did i care?? nope...That morning one of the girls that I meet the night before hadn't been to the Botanic Gardens and I wanted to go again so we trotted off down there, after a few hours of walking she mentioned she needed a job so as we walked though Circular Quay i saw a sign for staff, I forced her to ask about getting a job, she had to go back the next day for the interview (she got the job).

That evening I just had a quite one just in front of the TV watching old films.

went to the sydney harbor bridge and walk over it with two other guys from the hostel. Got to the other side and just walked back how fun did i make that sound....? As we walk back we saw the speed boats and it looked crazy so we went to the opera house got our yellow jackets and went on the fasted boat on the water, once we got up to a high speed the driver would spin the boat on its side quite scary wanted to cry at one point but the four year old kid behind me was laughing as he did it so i thought i would look a bit silly. then we just walked back towards Kings cross where we stopped to have a pie at Harry's pie shop (best pies in sydney)I had a stake and kidney pie with mash potatoes on top then mussy pies and gravy....amazing.
