The train actually traveled this morning and the scenery was beautiful. Unfortunately, it was across the desert and we had no air conditioning again. I guess we were lucky the toilet worked. I spent most of the time in the vestibule between cars because it was cooler there than in our cabin. In the afternoon we arrived in Salt Lake City and we went for a tour of Park City. It was off season for them so it wasn't crowded. We found the day very pleasant and enjoyed the town very much. Some of the galleries had quality art for fairly reasonable prices. We had a quick driving tour of SLC on the way back to the train from Hell. Fortunately this was our last night on the train.
