We arrived in Tolouse in the evening and were so relieved to have Laurence and Elia there to greet us with their big happy faces (it runs in the family!!!).  We had a nice drive through tolouse and the country side before arriving at their beautiful Farmhouse in Castres.  Bruno and Laurence were great hosts and we really enjoyed our relaxing time here - and were excited to have a home cooked meal once again!

On our first day, Laurence took us along to a friends house, where she teaches french to the partners of the local rugby team who Laurence and Bruno know well, as she was a real estate agent, in charge of setting up house for all the imported players (Aussies and New Zealanders).

Bruno and Laurence were great hosts

Our second day we went to Tolouse Lautrec - a tiny litte village with a big windmill (Moulin) on a hill overlooking the town.  We also had a look at the saturday markets where all the small farmers come to sell their produce.  Bruno and Laurence took us to a Rugby game in the evening - their local team - the reputable Castres -  won 58 / 13 which was a big thing as they have been on a bad streak lately -  We had some celebratory drinks and dinner at a traditional french restaurant, followed by some more drinks at la Vita Notte local nightclub and hang out for the rugby team- we arrived and Josh was greeted with a beer bong challenge (and was the champion - who would expect anything else??!!) while the rest of the rugby team just ordered bottles of vodka!

On Sunday we were to go to another nearby city, but Laurences friend went into labour early in th morning and we stayed home to babysit the sister.

We had a great time and it was lovely to meet Elia and Lucas too (and Gribuya - the rabbit).  We are looking forward to seeing them again in Brisbane when they move.
