Zubiri to Pamplona, day off in Pamplona

On May 28^th, we had twenty-two easy kilometers down to Pamplona. Weather was generally wet and gray with periods that were wetter and grayer. We both felt strong hiking today though. A good sign going forward.

Got into Pamplona about noon and over the next two days enjoyed the rest and got several things done:

· Toured Pamplona, it’s an interesting city

· Followed the ‘Running of the Bulls’ path

· Washed clothes, hanging them from every conceivable spot in our hotel room. I’ll be leaving with wet socks tomorrow

· Mailed more stuff off home that we acquired or figured we didn’t need . .. always a win

· Bought a replacement camera and other supplies

· Planned our next four days (stages)

After 11 days on the march, it was good to take a break and recharge. On to Puente la Reina tomorrow!
