Last border crossing was sketchy as...this one was a tad better but it did involve getting questioned by the narcs soon after I arrived and then abdominally scanned...one for the nerves...bags taped up zips sealed lol!

Flight went fine after that a lovely chicken salad to keep you going lol...Rocked into Bogota airport to get welcomed by the confusion that is the peso here bloody nightmare to understand!!

Weather is hot and dry nice nice!

Got a cab to the hostal..right more scams...here the new scam...they either pretend they dont know where your going or in my case they say it has been demolished...(its Colombia, gang war pretty plausible!)Anyways so after him trying to drive me to the Jewish hostal...I spotted the place and the cheeky bugger tried to get a tip...not likely! The place was pretty quiet  which was strange being the biggest hostal in Bogota.

So putting the general perception of Colombia behind me mooched into town to find we were staying by the Presidents house! Very elaborate and muchos police and armed military guards! All very ornately dressed. Instantly liked Bogota more than Quito more space more spread out had a better vibe felt safer than Quito. Lovely city nice people very strange mind. Businessmen everywhere all waiting outside the parliament buildings not sure what that was about! Need to start making a diary of all the crap people try and sell you from glowing frogs to bags of drink its weird and fascinating! Just sad my time limit was restricted to just two days there as it was a great place!

Sadly had to catch a flight which got delayed in Barranquilla due to tropical storms in Cartagena....welcome to the caribbean..´better start believing in ghost stories lady..cos your in one...´
