We caught the train from brugges to rotterdam with a few other travellers we had met in brussels. The first thing to hit us about rotterdam is that there are so many crazy buildings and bridges to see! It really is the city of the future, a total change from what we have been used to seeing in belgium and especially brugges. We spent most of our first day sight seeing and walking around, taking in the new views and culture. We also played alot of poker in teh evening and ate lots of m&m's. Things here are quite expensive so we couldnt afford to go in the pricey museums but found lots to look at and walks to be had to fill the day.
