A quiet holiday

This was my first visit to Majorca, so wasn't quite sure what to expect, especially as I've been to Menorca and Ibiza.

We arrived in the country in mid morning on the Saturday, and by the time we'd been through the airport it was coming towards lunchtime.

We'd hired a car for the week and from Palma to Puerto d'Alcudia, it took us about 45 minutes.

After a stay in the hotel restaurant for a bit, we went up to our lovely hotel room and then relaxed for the rest of the day.

The market in the old town was lovely to see on Sunday and Tuesday, which is why we visited twice - I think it was a typical Spanish/Majorcan market.

The Cuevas del Drach was an interesting place to visit - great to see what's underground!
