Napier (Earthquake to Art Deco)

Feb. 7 / 8^th Napier ( EarthquakeMuseum, Marine Park & Art Deco Tour )

After some research of the area we decided to make a short drive to the community of Napier & spend a day or two exploring the coastal Marine Park and museum that depicts the events surrounding the devastating 7.2 earthquake that demised the town which was rebuilt into its current “art deco” architecture. We managed to see a fair amount of Napier thanks to a minor lap’s of my “spidey senses” that enabled some long walks thru the community!
