I went to Germany for work to join one of our ships – Oriana – as she was being completely refurbished.I flew to Hamburg and we had the scariest / most fun 2-hour taxi ride of my life to the port at Bremerhaven.Those Autobahns!We were lucky to have the day at the German markets in Bremerhaven so had mulled wine and festive cheer.Then
it was off on the ship in the weirdest of circumstances, plastic

luxury cruise that's for sure.Needless to say she was looking all spick and span by the time we arrived into Southampton 48 hours later.Miracle workers those contractors!
