I've become a beach bum, I lay all day at the beach and drink fruit shakes. You can rent a chair with a umbrella for 3 dollars the whole day. I love it here. The beach town is small with lots of cool little bars, coffee shops and local restaurants.

At night this island rocks! Fire dancers, music and a very local flavor.

A very eclectic group here. This place is much better as far as being a single women. Lots of cool people but not so over the top like on kata. I'm meeting all kinds of people, I mean ALL kinds.

Went by boat to snorkel at  Phi Phi Lea where the movie "the beach " was filmed.  Visited monkey beach, totally inhabited by wild monkeys. I kept my distance, one of them was hanging from a tree and stole some guys sunglasses.

This area is still not fully recovered from the tsunami and you can tell in some places. Its still the most beautiful islands I've seen.

The locals tell stories of ghosts from what happened. Freaky. So my time here is almost up :( then its back to Bangkok...then home.
