Neil's parents arrived in Vancouver on Wednesday 12th April. We hired a car on the weekend and drove up to Whistler (well Neil did!!). The Snow Fest was on so it was really busy and lots to see and do!! It was amazing and i couldn't believe how picturesque it was and rather cold!!

To get to Whistler Blackcomb, you take the Sea to Sky Highway which was voted one of the best drives in the world for its views etc!! Im not too great reading maps and sitting in car going round bendy roads, so i didnt feel too great but it didnt take too long to get there, only about an hr and a half. Plus the trip did not have too many hairpin bends like you find in some mountainous resorts!

Neils parents enjoyed themselves there and we had a lovely lunch in one of the local restaurants. We did not manage to ski as it was very busy and time was getting on. For the ski season in may/june/july, there is a train which runs from Vancouver to Whistler and they are doing special  return deals for residents of BC, so neil and i may go on that when/if we save up some money and try snowboarding or skiing then!!

Check out the piccies xx
