So again, late wake up. We packed up our things and put them in storage downstairs at the Hostel. We talked to Ashley and decided that we were going to get food and then head to the modern art museum.

We did exatly that. A couple of Tapas and then a long slow walk to the museum. The museum was awesome. I did not agree that some of the pieces were art, but it was still great.

Sleeping on the bus

Ashley and I picked apart every single piece like art critics. It was pretty entertaining.

So then we spent an hour or more walking home to the hostel through some street market. I got some good shots of buildings and dogs and pigeons and other things that we don't have in Canada.

We had one lst dinner with everyone. Ashley and Amy made a good stirfry and rice. Finished several 65 cent bottles of wine. Said our goodbyes.

We jumped the #8 bus to L'Estacione De Autobueses and got on the 9 hour bus to Granada.

This is where the story starts, the accompanying photos are from earlier in the day.

So we got on and got nice seats. I popped in ear plugs and blew up the neck pillow. The bus left on schedule at 11 PM. It stopped every 45 minutes or so for another pickup. At the first stop, 3 drunks got on. One of them lay accross the seat in front of us, talking loudly to his friends.

Everyone else on the bus wanted to sleep and was trying. This man then yelled several times as he attempted to get comfortable, and then got up and went to the bathroon (he was in there for about 3 hours). The bus stopped and started, the lights came on every time. The driver called the stop over the loudspeaker every time.

Another building. Yay. It was cloudy.

A few people got on and started to talk at full volume, then they started to argue at full volume. Then one got off, the other began talking to his wife.

Finally silence, then the driver turned up the Radio very loud. I think that this was an attempt to stay awake as it was now 4 AM. I managed to shut it out. We then arrived at Granada bus station at 7:30 AM.

Next day starts here. Next entry is tomorrow. Hope you are enjoying the blog!
