So, Manchester was definetly a lot different (and cheaper) than London. The pace isn't nearly as go go go as London is, which was a nice start. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot to see in Manchester either. Meeting up with my buddy Nick from UBC was nice; on the first day I was there we went out to Old Trafford and took the Manchester United Museum and Stadium Tour, which was a blast. The days were a little bit boring, as Nick had to work and meeting people in the hostel was rather difficult. I also got a cold, which was not cool at all, but I suppose those are the breaks. The last night I was in town, we went down to the student district and watched some UEFA Champions League soccer which was a blast. I also got to see the curry mile in Manchester, which is literally a mile of curry restaurants. I tried out one of the Kebab places; delicious! As a side note tho, when an East-Indian asks you if you want chilli sauce, say NO! I made the mistake of saying yes, and my mouth and body were burning for about an hour. Anyways, took the train up to Edinburgh in the afternoon, and have just arrived in the land of the Scots, which looks to be promising. More about Edinburgh later.
Chilli sauce = no!
