Pepe the Van Driver

I LOVED Granada.  My favorite city in España.  Granada sits in the South of Spain, and has beautiful views of the Sierra Nevada.   My perfect day was taking a nap on the hostel rooftop, awaking to the sunset on the Sierra Nevada.  After that, we went to the hot springs, about 30 minutes away in the woods somewhere near Granada.  This trip was organized by our hostel, so my friend Patrick and I convicned a few others to go.  To get there, you have to walk to the city center and get in a van (not named or anything) with a driver named Pepe, who by the way, was definitely stoned out of his mind.  But Pepe was a good driver and brought us safely to the sulfuric hot springs.  The hot springs were AMAZING (besides being a local hot spot for homosexuals -  not that i have a problem with that, i just dont want to imagine what could be in that water...).  It was sooo relaxing, i just sat there and looked up at the stars.  Lucky we got in right van, because we didnt even ask if Pepe was Pepe, we just assumed...Funny the things I just assume here.  On to my night train to Barcelona!!  Ole!

Oh yes, and before I forget, the cast of crazies gets a bit bigger.  So far, Ive told about the Shakira dancer and the Asian show off.  Granada had Miss Sober, aka Sci-fi, or Drama Club.  We had three nicknames for this girl, who was about 18 years old and was terrible.  She talked more than anyone I know, probably more than Neervi and I combined (thats a lot).  How do I sum this up -- Princeton bound, suncscreen on nose, 5 blue shirts all the same, annoying.  My favorite quote of hers "Scifi got me through middle school".  Ok fine, im mean.
