got the night train from BA to mar del plata the train took 5 hours we left BA at 23.30 there were loads of thoes kids who riffle through the rubbish to sell the empty plastic and that in the station, there s a heavy police body there tho so felt safer. that day we had been to the japanese gardens in BA then went wandering, we got back to the hostel in san telmo and had a glass of vino with tim and some peruvian guy called percy, the train to mar del plata was funny the seats were leather and really big but well sweaty in the night trying to sleep on them shelenas sleeping bag came in handy we paid extra for the carriage which incedently just meant we got on a carriage with lights the carriage infront had no lights and people must have been tripping over each other gettin on. mar del plata is just like south end/brighton there is a sea lion colony were gonna check out tommorow apparently the east of argentina is quiet barren so looks like we may be changing our route down to el calafate to go to the moreno glacier by going via the west of argentina.
