Muscle Beach & The Mall

After breakfast we went to Vons to restock and were greeted with mist rolling in from the sea. This soon cleared and the sun came out as we were on the bus to Venice Beach. Andy did a work out at Muscle Beach which was a major shock to his body whilst Meg went for a jog up and down the beach. Afterwards both of us were knackered and realised that training in the midday sun wasnt the best idea! We trained for about an hour then got the bus back to the hostel. We had a long lunch cooling down and talking to a woman from New Zealand we had met on the coastal walk the day before. After showering we went to Santa Monica Place (shopping mall) on 3rd Street and looked around the shops and both had a demo of a massaging chair pad which was very good! We then went to 3rd Street Promenade and had a drink in Starbucks and watched some very good street acrobats (one man ran and somersaulted over 7 other men!) After dinner we went for one last walk on the pier, watched the locals fishing and Meg had fun with some bubbles!
