Halloween in the big city with great friends!

Stayed with a friend in Brooklyn.. in BedSty near Pratt Institue. He is an artist.. and has the knack of meeting great people no matter where he lives.

New York City has been no exception.

We travelled the city by Metro.. taking in a Manhattan Art opening for Julia Heyward, boozing too late in SoHo, watched some of the strangest movies I have ever seen... especially:

A Captivating film.. but, haunting and will leave you wondering what the heck it is about if you just watch it without reading about it first.

Spent time at Rosemary's Greenpoint Tavern in Williamsburg. This is by far the best bar on the planet.

It is owned by a great lady.. who goes all out during holidays to decorate the place... which is small and very hometown feeling. Besides that, they have 32 oz Budweisers for $3.50 and the cups are styrofoam.. so, your Tub o' beer stays cold forever.

Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, parks, and restaurants.. New York just has a vibe all it's own.. and Brooklyns parks, people, and things to do are top notch.

Sorry to be leaving.. but, maybe coming back again someday!
