Ancient Ruins

Pompeii was pretty crazy. It really seemed like we were walking in the city just as it was years and years ago. The buried city was huge and we got lost in the labryinth of roads that all looked the same. This may have been one of the places where it would have been helpful to have a guide. I think we would have gotten more out of it if we had. There were a couple of places where they had bodies preserved by the lave on display. I had really mixed feelings about that. On one hand I was intrigued and it made the event seem real but on the other hand it just didnt seem right to have this body on display. I guess its kind of like the body worlds exhibit. And even days after seeing it I still dont know how I feel about it. Overall pompeii was definatly worth seeing.
