I actually stayed in Kissimmee, right by Orlando and Disney World.

I took a day tour to the Kennedy Space Centre which was awesome - tho I only managed to fit in everything I wanted to see in the time I had (you could spend ages there!). There I saw the shuttle launch pads, the Saturn V rocket which landed on the moon - which is massive, the final assembly area for the International Space Station, etc.

After visiting KSS, I also took a airboat ride in the swamps. The boat was powered by a V8 chevy motor - very grunty! Unfortuantely no alligators come out to play while we were out but the trip was still well worth taking.

In the evening I went into Orlando with some Australians staying at my hostel, and it proved to be a massive night! For a Wednesday, the town was pumping and everywhere we went was full of people (including what I'm guessing is a common thing in Orlando - waitresses in bikini's - what more could you ask for!)
