Arrival in Trieste

After a 4 hour drive we finally arrived in sunny Trieste. All of a sudden it was flaming hot, about 32 degrees Celcius. Trieste is a lovely city but crowded, dusty and full of people.

Just trying to find a parking spot while navigating through wild Italian drivers is a bit of challenge. Anyway, we managed it all the same.

Wondering around in Trieste

First thing we did was trying to find the "agenzia d'informazione turisma". We needed a place to stay in Trieste or the surroundings. In the picture here you can see the big square in Trieste. Probably is the largest square in italy. The tourist information centre was located there. Didn't find it straightaway because I had to ask several people in my best italian for directions. And they all pointed us in a different direction.

Finally we found it, got a little book with addresses of campings and telephone numbers. 5 minutes later we had a reservation
