Hey people, just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has been keeping in touch with e-mails recently.  They are always appreciated especially as most of our inbox contains tesco and amazon adverts!  MUM Why have you not sent me an e-mail eh?  Slack very slack!  Hope that you and Dave are fine and have recovered from you holiday with the Grandparents.  Finally - if anyone has seen my brother recently could they please tell him to answer my messages!

Well down to business - keeping you up to date with our whereabouts.  We are in Queens town - the adventure tourism capital of the world.  It is a cross between east London and a ski resort complete with its own mountains called the Remarkables.  Everytime Nic thinks it is hilarious to say "Those mountains are truely... remarkable!"  She says never not funny, I say getting a little tiresome.  So, we arrived and had a georgeous day chilling out and drinking beer in the afternoon sun on the harbour front which is quite old for around here 100 years or so.  Its a hard life I know.  Yesterday we had to tackle the hurricane force gusts of wind to visit the home of bungy we saw a few people jump and we got to see how the bungy cord is made.  They sadly had a power cut so we took the skyline cable car up to the lookout and then we did a second Luge ride (same as Rotorua).  It was fun and not at all busy so we didn't feel harassed.  Then we pootled back to the van.  At this Holiday Park there is a beautiful delicatessian across the street which we obviously have to support and so Nic cooked fillet steak for supper last night and I cooked fresh Salamon fillets the night before so don't worry we are still living the high life and eating our vegetables.

Today has been our wild day and we booked ourselves on the shotover duo which is a ride on the jetboat through the canyons of the shotover river and then white water rafting which was stunningly excellent.  My favourite part was the sexy wetsuit with matching boot combination.  Not really, but it is worth it for the ride.  For those of you in the know we finished up on a grade 3 rapid called The Dogs Leg.  Alot of water in our ears, in the boat, and on our faces.  We also and I know this is geeky but we rafted along past the pillars of the kings from the Lord of the rings film.  Cool.  So we have just arrived back and I think we are going to go and have a feww drinks on the town tonight obviously in honour of Georgia's Birthday this week.  We have another few days here so make sure you come back and finish reading this entry as the next bit is unwritten but I promise it will be good...

What a brave girlie you are! Or slightly mad, not sure which...? Even the thought of that makes me a bit green. Looking forward to the next installment!

WOW! Well done Nic, I am proud (and just a bit jealous!) Enjoying reading the exploits, takes me away from cold and rain lashed Beckton for a few minutes! Keep safe x
