This 6-7-8 thing is for the birds! Mom, I found out that I am a "30" on the sleep number bed...nice and squishy!
We were off for our big adventure this morning to Pikes Peak....elevation 14,110 feet. We took the Cog Railroad. It took about an hour and 10 minutes to get to the top and the trip was 8 miles. It made for some great pictures!
We were very careful to drink lots of water so that we would not get sick from the change in elevation. None of the people on the trip got sick. Yeah! The conductor of the train told us that you breathe out a liter of water on the round trip. Good Grief!
