So, we were off on our great adventure to Kenai Fjord’s National Park on an all day cruise. We used Major Marine Tours – they were fabulous and we highly recommend them. The weather was good, in other words it did not rain – this area is a temperate rain forest. We saw lots of wildlife – with close ups of Orca and humpback whales, Dall porpoises, seal lions, puffins, sea otter, bald eagles and huge wave of jellyfish. The glaciers were vibrant baby blue, under cloudy skies. We met nice tourists from the Chez Republic. Sad to say, but Susan had a rough day since the seas were aweful, with waves up to 14 feet. It was a great rollercoaster ride, which did several people in, including Susan. Others got soaking wet including Gladys and Deb. Michele looked a little green, but was a good sport when she filled several barf bags. Again, the crew was great and made this a very pleasant experience as best as they could…cannot control mother nature.
I am not sure if the sea sick wrist bands work...Sue
