Saturday 7th October
We left San Diego for Palm Springs, spending the day at a place called La Jolla just north of SD. What an incredible place – the scenery is absolutely beautiful with the coastline ranging from rugged cliffs to white sandy beaches. What was amazing though was to see the seals, sealions and pelicans in the wild, whilst having breakfast in a little sea-facing deli (the best bagel and coffee so far this trip!)
It seems that everyone heads to the beach at the weekend either to surf, go kayaking or diving and just makes you want to be part of that lifestyle!
