Tuesday - Arrived Ayers Rock.  What a view from the plane.  It really is an amazing site.  Settled into the resort then headed straight on to a 'Sound of Silence' dinner. Watched the sun go down on the rock and the Olgas before headed down to a candle light dinner in the middle of the desert.  The sounds where amazing as was the food and company.  Then had a talk on the stars and the use of three powerful telescopes.

Wednesday - Up early for a walk round the base of the rock with a local aboriginal guide.  Fantastics sites to visit along with the local legends and laws. Out for a barbeque for the night time along with some tasmanian beer. Then went on a bit of a bender with some of the otehr travellers.  Ended up taking the bar man onto the other pubs with us.  Would have liked to have spent a few more days here.
