Shopping in Oxford Street
From 45 Days in Europe in Oxford Street, United Kingdom on Jul 09 '08
well, went there with my sis. the weather was sunny today quite hot though particular when wearing a sweater. anyway, everywhere it's on sale probably the economy was not good(heard that from my MUMMY in Msia).went to shops like Zara,Ms Selfrigde,Topshop,Dorothy Perkins(would be heaven for my cousin Hayley)..haha...everything there's on sale but didnt find anything that i like..too bad..well, everywhere is pack with people and it's like those people doesnt have to study or work. it's like during weekends and shopping for CNY.well anyway, wanted to buy souveniors from those stalls but those people are so irritating with their stare and so annoying and rude. i hate them..urgghhh..well,so didnt buy anything from them execept postcards and fridge magnet. well then for Lunch, we buy foods from BOOTS(is actually a pharmacy or drug store like Guardian) for £3.29 you get to have a drink, sandwiches or sushi or bread and a dessert like chips, chocolate or something.well, the thing bout BOOTS is so cool that we can check out the foods ourselves where there is a machine that you scan and pay the amount of money told by the machine.it's like your working in the supermarket or something.lolz.it's just so cool and wish that Malaysia would have machines like that.then since that the street lacks of bench and the only bench was taken,me and my sister went to the underground( we bought one day pass) and from oxford street we went to take train to Primark my fav. while waiting for the train, me and my sister ate our sandwich there and stuff and since i am eating too slow,4 train has pass and when the 5th train arrive,we got up and went in..not a bad place to eat your lunch there except for those stare people gave at us.it was quite embarassing though but i don't care.just don't do any eye contact. well, went to Primark oh gosh..i think is the largest Primark in London and it has 2 storey and it is huge. there are so many people there and pushing and stuff.it's crazy.but still manage to buy some stuff.really, the things there are really really cheap.. well, anyone coming to London.Primark is a store not to miss because it's really cheap and some of the clothes are really cool.
