If you're looking for something a bit off the beaten path, but something that you'll remember for a lifetime, then I recommend visiting Bussaco (or Bucaco in Portuguese). If you're doing a whirlwind tour of Portugal and need something that's a bit relaxing, then the lush forest, beautiful palace, and pristine mountain air will do the trick.
