Back in Vegas. We’re really excited about this trip. Last time we went to Vegas it was fun but we didn’t have many things planned. This trip we have Seinfeld & the Super Bowl. We got in early. Our room wasn’t ready so we just went shopping (imagine that?!). We went to Ceasar’s Forum and the Venetian for shopping. Didn’t get too crazy. While at The Forum we saw Bobby Flay. He was drinking coffee and talking football picks. How cool! He seemed nice. Several people talked to him and he was friendly to everyone. So we tried to check in again around 3:00 and our room still wasn’t ready. We ate at Bobby Flays restaurant Mesa (we should have asked him for a coupon earlier!). It was good. We went back at 4:00 and it still wasn’t ready. We were VERY tired at this point. Plus, we were getting close to the show. We had to have some time to rest before Seinfeld. We asked the girl if she had a another room ready. She told us we didn’t want to lose the room we had. Ok cool! So about 5:15 our room was ready. Man, we wanted to rest. Our room is nice! Corner room on the 33rd floor over looking the Bellagio Fountains! It’s pretty big too. We saw Seinfled and he was great. Ok, we had 2nd row and we could see the hands on his watch! They were incredible seats! He was great. Very funny. He even did his “Hey Newman”. Classic! We had about an hour before dinner reservations at Tao. That was a good time to relax again. Tao was good but not great. Over priced. Imagine that?!?! We hung around for drink afterwards. Not a great place. It was crowded though! Tracy went to sleep early (well earlier than me!) and I played some blackjack.
