This morning was another 6-7-8 day and we headed out to see Rocky Mountain State Park, CO.

We crossed the Continental Divide! Cool! Wait until you see these pictures! UNBELIEVABLE !!! WE hiked up this ridiculous mountain to get these incredible shots! A new FEET PICTURE!!! It was so cold! Lots of snow, elk, mule deer, freaky tourists and nature!!

We spent the afternoon in Estes Park, CO, shopping and eating. It is like a small Gatlinburg!! We are spending the night here.

My former student and fellow blogger "Lucky Chicken"  (a.k.a. Joanne Tennant) bribed her friend Lynne to driver her from Ft. Collins ( about 40 miles away). We walked around town on a quest to find rock candy on a stick for Adam, because he had been so super good today. After securing the sugarlicious commodity, we headed to look at "The Stanley Hotel" in town. This is where Steven King wrote "The Shining." SCARY!!!

I would have to agree with your choice for best pic of the day--gorgeous!!! I can't believe people actually rode bikes up that high-how did they breathe??? I guess you have solidified a new "death march" with your climb.

I feel the rocky mountain high from here. As John Denver would say "FAR OUT!"

AHHW! I wanted to see pictures of the freaky tourists! Or is that what we saw in the pictures of you guys?! (Just kidding!) Fab pictures! Thanks for sacrificing your tootsies for the addition of the "Rocky MT. Toe" shot! That's a difficult angle to achieve!
