I lived just outside of Thiers, my host family had a flat there though. But in summers they lived at La Chezal, a beautiful little cottage like house. It had a great view of the valley. The grandmother had a great house up the road a little and had an amazing view of the mountains. I was right in the mountain range. If you have ever seen the movie Twilight, it sorta reminds me of where I was living after it rained, very foggy and wet, but brilliant.
