Day 2 Birmingham

A good night's sleep, despite the monsterous spider living outside my window, but a poor breakfast leave me in a foul mood for today's fair. Arriving to find that there is no breakfast, but coke and popcorn instead does lift my spirits a bit. (there's just nothing like fresh popped popcorn!) A SLOW fair finds me flipping through wedding magazines for a recently engaged friend.

A lunch filled with things I hate, cold hamburgers, beans, and coleslaw, and losing yet another raffle leave me cranky and pouting. Not the best way to embark on a shopping spree with a new friend. Luckily there was Arby's to save the day! (never thought I'd say that). Roast beef in tummy, we search through downtown Birmingham (not much to see) and return to our neck of the woods to find a marvelous shopping plaza that even has an Anthropologie! After a quick shinning of the new engagement ring (not mine) we decide to be lazy and head to Cheesecake Factory for an endless menu of choices. But my dessert topped it all! Strawberries and hot fudge!! mmmmmmmmm
