This IS Paradise, but it's onto Pendelton we go!

We packed up once again and headed west to Pendelton. What we thought would take ~ 6-7 hrs. turned into 9 but who cares when you are cooped up in a pickup w/ 2 dogs in the backseat who, after about 7 hrs. have had it w/ the truck routine. It isn’t as bad as it sounds, but the barking gets to be a bit much. We traveled through some back country, seeing our first set of Elk {outside of Yellowstone--look closely at the photo they are there in the distance, but unfortunately, again, I didn’t get the camera up in time}. We coursed southwest from Kalispell, through a town named Paradise, and meandered back to the I-90 where we traveled through Idaho, Washington State and then finally into Oregon. We pulled into Pendelton, late in the day and checked into our new “home away from home” (The Super 8) and promptly began looking for housing for the next 3 months....
