Arrived in North Montgomery and settled in for a nice evening.  Most of these campgrounds are located near the Interstates and traffic can be a little noisy.  K&K RV Park was ok with all hookups including cable.  Tv was excellent.

Got started the next morning after a fill-up and went on to Matheson. MS just South of Memphis.  I cut across the state to enter AR at Helena and took US 70 that ran parallel to I-30.  Wow, was that a mistake!

Running along 70 I came up on some water - lotta water on both sides of the road and nervously motored on for another 15 miles until I reached a sign that said, "70 closed due to water on the road, take  I-30".  When I reached Little Rock, I made appointments for Teddi and I to get our fillings re-cemented.  Yes, they were shook loose.  Poots came out from underneath the sofa two pounds lighter!

Campground in LR is mediocre.  But we have spent very little time there as we have been sightseeing and visiting friends and relatives.  I have 2 second-cousins in NLR that were very good to me as a child and I looked them up and our visit was wonderful. Fuddy and Millie both females, 79 and 83.  Went to church with Fuddy this morning - wonderful.  The name Fuddy?  Hey - It's Arkansas.

Good news, TV reception with antenna is exceptional - glad to see the new antenna and booster was working.

Heading out Tues AM for TX  and will probably do it in two days with a stopover in Texarkana - final destination being Dallas Fort Worth area also known as Grapevine.

Missing everyone.   Shirley, cooked the salmon last evening - delicious.  Thanks.

Will send another note before leaving TX.  Appreciate everyone's comments

Glad to see all is going well. Did you get to use any of the survival kit? Weather here is nice but no rain for 2 weeks. 3 weeks and we will be north for about a month. Check out the coor's beer out there. They tell me its better out west!!
