Very quiet without all the Rocky TPIs and back to cooking up our own breakfast. Today we went to Killarney with Jim and Marion (Jim & I were in 104 Sigs and Vietnam) Very nice farming country and a bit like New Zealand rolling hills and green grass. They grow potatoes, milo and other sorgums and a bit of beef and sheep. The Killarney meat works handles, beef, pigs and sheep. We stopped at the Killarney pub for lunch and came back to Warwick via, Emu Vale and Tanneymorel. Visited the Queen Mary Falls and did the bush walk round the mountain track to the base of the falls and back up via a lookout and to the top of the falls. Lovely native bush, and moss and various lichens growing in such a moist area. The track had us all puffing, quite a number of steps going down and a low slow zigzaging track going up. But the walk produced some lovely scenery. Back in Warwick we visited the Big W warehouse which is 8 acreas in size. All the Big W stock is distributed from this massive warehouse. Back to the van at 3pm and we all sat over a cup and tea and a slice or two of Woolies special fruit cake. Today is hot and sunny and we have rolled up the awning today because it will be nice and dry. We move out tomorrow and head for Tenterfield

Green countryside and cooler weather
