We had an early rise in Balaton to get our connecting trains from Budapest to Bratislava.The great thing is that we had and air conditioned private compartment on a high tech train,at last a nice train.We ended up buying returns to Bratislava because they were actually cheaper than a one way ticket.

When we arrived we were met my Martin a local man that i had been in contact through another travel website,and he agreed to show us to our accomodation then show us round abit of the city.

Credit must go to Martin because he was telling us as much as he could about his city whilst showing us to our accom,then that evening we went to watch the new Indiana Jones film in English luckily.

The next day we went to Vienna,but i will put a seperae entry for that.Then on our final day in Bratislava we met Martin again and also Wayne,Stephanie and Dan and Martin took us all on a walking tour of the city.We went to Bratislava castle and the Blue Church,and walked around all the backstreets of the city we would never of been to without a local.Then we went out for a great meal in the evening where i had soup served from a bun of bread.
