After the Oriente we headed back to Quito.  Once again the bus ride wouldnt disappoint.  Passing ¨slow traffic¨ on windy roads, check points with machine guns, and air fresheners that kill nerve endings in your nose.  After 10 hours of riding we arrived in Quito at 2 am.  Straight away to our hostel and slept like a baby in a bed that made the floor look comfortable.

Spent the weekend (9/16) figuring out if the Galapagos would be within my credit card budget.  It was.  So we bought plane tickets to Baltra, Galapagos with our new friend Eric for the following weekend.

Another bus ride for 10 hours
