My apartment is great!  It's 3 times bigger than most of the other native English speakers I work with.  It's in an officetel which means the apartments are upstairs and a ton of resturants and shops are on the first floor.  Talk about convienent!  I have a washer/dryer combo, a seperate shower, and a loft (yes!).  I can't accually walk in the loft (I have to stoop way over) but my bed is up there so it's not in the middle of the living room.  It's so great not to have a studio apartment!  My school is about a 30 minute walk away.  I don't think the walk is that long it just takes that long because I have to stop at about a million crosswalks that stay red for about an hour!  I've been told there are shortcuts but I haven't found any yet.  I enjoy the walk because there are vendors selling everything you can imagine.  I want to buy everything I see!  My school provided me with a lot of extras too.  I have a school computer, a desk, microwave,  a pretty big tv, dvd/vcr combo, and a tv stand.  I have a rice cooker too but I will never use it.  Rice once a day at school is more than enough!  The negatives...1) people party at the resturants downstairs until 4:30 in the morning everyday of the week so sometimes the noise and lights keep me awake 2) It's not very cozy...A hotel would be cozier than my apartment.  I guess I should by some pillows or something to decorate it but if you know me you know that I am way to cheap to do that.  I guess the fact that it's not to homey will cause me to get out and about a lot more.

I am wondering what school you work(ed) for. I am traveling to Korea in Aug. 2007 to teach English and your school sounds good. I would love to know more! My email is amymccolm@yahoo.com and you can just put something about Korea in the title line so I will be sure to see it. Thanks for your time! Amy
