Okay so in addition to my whinge-fest, I settled in to enjoy the Belly hospitality and time with these wonderful people only to be rushed off the couch to see something I never thought I would see up a (pine?) tree on the side of a suburban road. I have been corrected by my hosts as we are near the hills koalas do encroach on the urban territory sometimes. It still surprised me given its entirely the wrong kind of tree but as you'll see from the photos this fairly large guy was more than comfy.
Why is there a koala in a pine tree?
