Dewey: It Is What It Is

Once again I found myself in Dewey Beach with lots of people and dogs in one room. This time it was me, Allie, Adam, Adam's dog Dora, Adam's friend Mike, and Mike's dog Frankie (Allie left Lucy at home this time). Friday night Allie and I went to see the Pat McGee Band at the Bottle and Cork -- always a favorite. We ran into my friend Drew from U of D, which was not surprising at all. Saturday we went sailing on a catamaran in Little Assawoman Bay (hahaha), which is always a good use of time. After sailing, we hit the beach. There was a rough surf advisory so of course we went swimming -- there were 6-foot waves, which made it exciting and fun. Sunday we got to go to Jolly Roger Splash Mountain at 30th St in OC MD on Sunday, which always brings back memories for me. After the waterpark, we played skee-ball and whac-a-mole at the boardwalk and had a ridiculously bad dinner with a terrible waitress. We headed back Monday morning to beat the traffic and stopped off in Lewes, DE, to explore. While we were there, it rained a bit so we played Cranium Whoonu, always a favorite. Good times!
