Apologies everyone

Jorge thought it would be hilarious for me to climb inside a redwood tree... which despite my girly thoughts of spiders and or badgers, I did! The entire time I was have flash backs to that scene in Pitch Black where Fry (despite all warnings from the audience) climbed into the alien infested cave and almost got eaten.

Sorry...  postcards were meant to go out yesterday to all those who I promised would get them (well at least those that I remembered requested them... if you want to be sure email me, me brains gots holes in it!) however Columbus Day had every public servant off on a jaunt and not serving me! So today they will be posted... unless it rains :D

Also there will be no post for the 8th of October because I was on the couch all day reading through Lonely Planet Guatemala and planning my trip. "GUATEMALA"! Which, as you can imagine, is decidedly boring to write about, "and then I turned to page 47 and read about Mayan art. I highlighted the second line down from the page as it amused me to think..." etc etc etc very boring!

So instead; the funniest head-turning thing 'invented' by USA'ians that I have seen to date is... *drum roll* a DVD rental vending machine. Yes that is correct. There is NOTHING that the US of A won't put in a vending machine.
