Last night we didn't sleep at all because our bed was so uncomfortable and we had to wake up early to catch our tour of the Chateaus at 9. We packed up our clothes to leave at the hotel after checkout and went to the train station to meet the tour guide. Our first Chateau was the Chenonceau which was absolutely gorgeous because it was built over the river. The next stop was the Amboise which was one of the first chateaus built and was also the location of the grave of Leonardo da Vinci. The chateaus were an amazing experience and we would recommend it to anyone. When we got back to town, we walked towards the old part of town and ate some crepes at a local cafe. We also saw some old buildings that looked like they were built on weird angles. Apparently they are pretty famous because they were on all the postcards.

We walked back the train station and caught an earlier train into Paris taking the high speed TGV which took about an hour. We then took the metro over to our hotel and were very unhappy with the accommodations- lets just say it was not very clean. We walked around the immediate area trying to find Lysol or anything of the kind but the stores didn't carry it. To help pick up our spirits we did what always makes us happy, go to a restaurant and eat some food. We went to a busy restaurant right near our hotel called Chez Papa. It was basically a crap shoot in ordering because we couldn't figure out what anything on the menu said. It took about an hour for the food to come out but it turned out to be one of the most amazing meals yet. We both had a concoction of duck, ham, salad, portobello mushroom and a bunch of other stuff mixed up in a huge bowl of goodness. Now we feel better. Goodnight.
