The War Museum begins with wars with Indians, through the war of 1812, Boar War, WW1, WW2, Korean War, Cold War, to Afganistan and several others which I can not recall. They displayed the uniforms, arms, etc. of the era. The bottom floor included many tanks, half tracks, etc. of German, US, England and Canadian forces.
The organization of museum made it easy to follow with very good signage.
War Museum
As in British War Museum in London, they had sample trench display of World War One with an extensive write up on Vimy Ridge.
We spent from 4 to 5 hours in Museum.
We then went Rideau Hall where we were unable to see the Governor General.
