The wind wasn't fighting back as hard today. Unfortunately gravity took its toll. Who knew New Jersey had mountains? At any rate my legs were feeling better and there were not nearly as many stop lights as yesterday. Better yet there is very little risk of me suffering from hypothermia as my bike computer registered in at one hundred and nine degrees standing on the blacktop today.

About twenty five miles into my ride today I noticed that cars were giving me less room and I was hearing alot more horns than I was used to. I figured it was because I was so close to NYC but my mom informed me at lunch that I had crossed into New Jersey without even noticing. (Fun game, any time you see a car pull a twelve point turn in the middle of Main Street make a bet for ten bucks that the liscence plate says New Jersey, you'll win every time.)

We weren't lost when we saw this sign "This is Pittstown - R U Lost?" But we were lost more than once earlier in the day.

Fun fact... today, tomorrow, and thursday I'll be arriving in a new state from the one I started in. New Jersey, Pa, and Virginia in three days. (Hey it's more fun than doing the Ironman course and ending up back in my garage.)

Well I'm off to bed. Pray that my legs don't still feel like concrete in the morning.

332 down,

Ryan S.
