Sledding at the Sand Dunes

After morning beach time, Mom and I went to the sand dunes for some sledding. These wind swept sand dunes were amazing. The local boys "rented" us some plastic for sledding and I enjoyed a few runs down the hill. The boys are very tenacious and, kindly put, very good businessmen. Surprisingly, the sand dunes were fairly cool with the breeze but the sand was very hot to hike back up the hill. It is a greater workout than snow sledding! After this a quick stop at the red sandstone canyons and a local fishing village. We arrived back at our bungalow with a huge sandy mess! (Scott, can you bring something to clean the camera when you pack, the air brush and a soft wipe would be nice. Don't worry, it is not as bad as it sounds).

The days are starting to run together now. It is hard to remember the date and day of the week without any references or places to be. Mom has done a good job of keeping this part straight. Tomorrow we head back to Saigon on the bus
