After  a 1 hour flight from Nha Trang we arrived in Danang. 45 min by taxi we are back in one of our favorite places in Vietnam, Hoi An.

This little inland river village is really hot, meaning temperature. A 5 km ride to the beach and there is a beautiful white sandy beach. We have found a great hotel with a pool which is a great retreat through the middle of the day then the temp reaches max.

Yesterday (Sunday) we went to the beach for the day with friends and this morning was a 4.30 am start to go to the Cham Temple Ruins of My Son. One of the biggest mysteries is how the bricks these temples are held in place as they didn't use mortar. My Son was very heavily damaged from the Americans bombing the Viet Kong during the war.

Another major attraction of Hoi An is the tailor and shoe shops where Jo has had a great time.

On the 15 June we fly back to Hanoi to see some of the sights missed last time.
