So we took the train from Copenhagen to Berlin and we arrive on the afternoon. The only problem is that we had to book another hotel at the last minute because I thought that we could spend our night on the train. So we first went to a place. It was a kind of Bob Marley’s property hotel. We came and people where smoking weed. There was no toilet paper in the toilets (you had to pay it 1€) and everything was a bit dirty (except fortunately the sheets). The breakfast the day after was just awful. We wanted to leave this place as soon as we could.

I think it is a cathedral museum, but it was the nicest thing in Berlin

So when we arrive, we wanted to walk to the city centre to see Berlin. I looked on the map and I thought that it does not look like quite far. We walked about 3 hours to get there...

I just got mad and my back hurt me a lot. But anyway Fran was here fortunately to cheer me up. So we finally arrive and we saw some nice thing. But we did not really appreciate, first because we were tired, secondly, because everything is based on the war and we do not feel it positive. After about 5 hours walking we decided to taste the speciality. The sausage. So we went to a snack next to a kind of Cathedral and we ate currywurst (sausage with curry), blackwurst... with a German beer (Fran had decided to try the beers for every country). The sausage where good (normal after 6 hours walking you get really hungry)

Fran, always with a beer. This time obviously it is a german beer

So after we decided to go back to our hotel by bus (which was quite nice to see Berlin on the night)

The day after we left our hotel and we went to the other one which was much better. We went to the tourist offices to know what kind of thing we can do in Berlin. We find a really arrogant French. Fran got a bit angry with him (this Spanish people are so nervous).

So after talking to this delicious guy, we decided to .... (Try to guess)

Take the boat. The thing I like in Berlin with the tourist boat is that it is tourist but it is only in German. They even offer you in English. So we had a nice tour where we did not understand a word (as everybody on the boat). Logical no?

After that, we walked in Berlin; we took the bus and the metro to see the Berlin wall (another tourist thing about war). After we decided to get back to our hotel as we walked so much.

A thing I like in the Berlin metro is that you can go in the metro without a machine to validate your ticket. I mean, you have to validate your ticket but you can walk through it without any door or problem (except if you find a control man.)

We did not really like Berlin. It is just too big (about 8 times of Paris) and based on the war. The monuments are too modern and everything is just huge.

The berlin wall. It was not really impressive

The day after, we took our breakfast and we left. One thing I have to count is that every time we had the breakfast included we tried to make us some sandwiches, or take some things for the day as we were really poor.
