So, the trip to Bariloche, the Argentinian Lake District, was an overnight coach journey from Buenos Aires which took about 23 hours in total.  I didn't think this sounded too appealing when we were planning this but in the end this turned out to be quite a good journey.  Me, Kye and Blake chose to ride coche cama, which bascially means the seats are like lazy boys and they recline quite a lot.  As we watched the 'plebs' {the people who had taken the cheaper option, as dubbed by Kye} climb the stairs to their uncomfortable seats, we lay back, chilled out and waited for the journey to begin.  Wasn't the most exciting cross country journey as Argetina has a very flat landscape, but we passed our time watching terrible films {avoid a film called Passions like the plague} and listening to Phil Collins that was being powered out over the speaker system, Phil is truly global!!  Anyway 23 hours, two shocking meals, and a round of Bingo later we arrived at our destination.  Bariloche is a beautiful setting, perched on the edge of a glacial lake encased by the Andes.

Ok so the beauty of the place doesnt make up for the fact there is not too much to do here, especially when its off season as it is now, and all the activties you can do are more suited to warmer weather.  Still did a bit of walking, took a cable car lift and hammered some photos of the scenery.  Also turns out Blake has met George W a few times and his mate has goosed Jenna Bush, GOLD!! Time to move on to Mendoza now which will most definately be a bit more lively.  Mangaed to work the coach so we get in in time to see the United game, come on the double!!!  17 more hours of fun and shit films here we come.  Nice!!!
