Here are a few photos from our recent trip to Stradbroke Island.  A week of no teaching for me (Larah) meant a well earned recharge on the island.  During this week Peter managed to get himself a new job and we celebrated with fish and chips and champagne (thanks to Darryl and Angie - the ONLY people I know who can get Peter to drink bubbly).

We (especially Peter) talked a lot about Global Warming and the damage caused by air travel.  Being on Straddie made us realise that if we were never able to leave Australia again, we wouldn't really mind that much.

And it's right in our backyard...
